Dr. Pieper has a Ph.D. in Medical Physiology and has a background in medical research in addition to a lot of experience in the continuum of medical education at the undergraduate, medical student, graduate and continuing medical education levels. In addition to his responsibility as Assistant Dean in charge of CME, Dr. Pieper has the additional role of Executive Director of the Southeast Michigan Center for Medical Education, a consortium of most of the teaching hospitals in Southeast Michigan.
